Questions

Asked in almost every first conversation.

The questions people actually bring to the room, answered the way we answer them in person. The practical ones follow below.

Where do I even start?
You start with a conversation, not a product. We listen first; the plan comes after.
How it begins
Will my family be okay if something happens to me?
That is the first question a plan answers. Cover for life, income and health, built around your people.
Risk cover
Can I actually retire one day?
With a plan reviewed as your life changes, retiring on your terms becomes a decision, not a hope.
Retirement
Why a family practice?
Because you will speak to the same people next year, and the year after. We have advised Cape Town for decades.

The practical ones

And the ones about how it works.

How does it start?

With a conversation about you, not a brochure. We listen first: your life, your goals and your people. The plan comes after.

Are you tied to one product provider?

We advise on the Liberty platform, and Liberty is part of the Standard Bank Group. Our focus is the advice; the products only ever serve the plan.

How are you paid?

Clearly and upfront. How we are paid is explained before any work begins, in writing. [Exact wording to be confirmed with the practice.]

Do I need a certain amount before it is worth talking?

No. Plans are built around life stages, not account sizes. One conversation is enough to see where you stand. [Wording to be confirmed with the practice.]

What should I bring to a first meeting?

Yourself, mostly. If it is easy, bring whatever you have on existing policies, investments and retirement savings. If not, we start anyway.

Have a question of your own?

Ask it the way you would ask a person. A person will answer.
